Terms and Conditions of Private Events

Deposits:

Rustic Kitchen requires all clients to submit a deposit at the time of the contract signing. In addition, a signed credit card authorization must be on file with the restaurant. The event is not considered confirmed until Rustic Kitchen is in receipt of the signed contract, deposit, and credit card. Under no circumstances will Rustic Kitchen accept personal checks. Deposits are deducted from final bill.

  • $250.00 for all events under 100 guests

  • 25% of the estimated bill for any event over 100 guests

 

Payment and Billing:
Client is responsible for all charges. All amounts must be tendered by the conclusion of the event in the form of cash or credit card. Rustic Kitchen does not bill clients for events. Payment must be received the day of the event. If for whatever reason, payment is not made at the close of the event, the credit card on file will be charged the full amount. PA State Meals Tax (6%) and Gratuity (20%) will be added to final bill at end of the event. Any client claiming tax-exempt status must provide a copy of the tax-exempt certificate prior to the event date. Multiple forms of payment can be used, however no separate checks on parties of six or more.

 

Final Count:
A final guest count must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the event date. Failure to provide a final count will result in the client being charged for the highest number of guests that appear on the contract proposal. In the event that the actual guest count is higher than the guarantee, the client will be charged for the higher number. If the actual count falls below the guarantee, the client will still be responsible to pay for the minimum guest guarantee. If the function does not meet the minimum guest guarantee, Rustic Kitchen is under no obligation to package unconsumed food to go.

 

Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are fully refundable if client cancels prior to 14 days of the proposed event date. Cancellations made within 14 days to 5 days of the event date will only receive a refund of 50% the initial deposit. Client forfeits the deposit if an event is cancelled less than 5 days in advance. Furthermore, cancellations within 48 hours of confirmed function date are subject to charge of minimum guest count for stated lunch or dinner menu prices.

 

Food and Beverage:
Rustic Kitchen agrees to provide food, beverage, and other services as defined by the attached proposal. Any contract that includes the Prix Fixe menu are charged per person. Rustic Kitchen reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions if unable to secure specific menu items. Clients will be informed of any changes whenever possible. All food and beverage must be supplied by Rustic Kitchen. No outside food allowed. The menu selection will be chosen by the client, according to special event menu offerings. Beverages are based on consumption and the additional costs of the beverages will be incurred by the host. Rustic Kitchen strictly adheres to all Pennsylvania liquor laws, and reserves the right to verify any guest’s age, and to prohibit service to anyone we feel to be intoxicated. Alcoholic beverages may not be removed from the event area at any time. Special requests made the day of the event are acceptable, however, at the discretion of the Executive Chef and their subordinates. If such requests are honored, please allow adequate time for preparation.

Parking:
Mohegan Pennsylvania provides plenty of open air parking.

 

Conduct of Event:
Client assumes full responsibility for any and all conduct, acts and/or omissions of any individual in attendance at the event. Any and all damages resulting from said individuals will be the full responsibility of the event host. The client hereby agrees to save and hold harmless Rustic Kitchen, its agents, servants, employees, and officers with respect to any loss, expense or cost incurred relating to any claim or liability arising from the event except to the extent that such loss, damage or expense arises from specific acts by Rustic Kitchen. All children under 15 years of age are required to remain in the event area at all times. No taping of any decorations to the walls, as well as no confetti.
